Seed Banking - A Vital Practice for Preserving Biodiversity

Across the world, thousands of heirloom seed varieties are disappearing as agriculture becomes increasingly dependent on a few commercial crops. At Aanandaa, we believe these seeds are a precious living heritage that must be preserved and multiplied. Over the years, we have sourced open-pollinated seeds from farmers and seed savers across India, grown them on our farm, selected the varieties that thrive in our climate, and saved them for future generations. Through our Seed Bank, we continue to grow, preserve and share these seeds so that biodiversity can flourish once again.
