The Intro to
permaculture
Tour is designed for anyone curious about
sustainable living
, regenerative agriculture and ecological design. While Aanandaa is a private family farm, we open our gates on selected days to share the lessons we have learned from transforming a barren piece of land into a thriving food forest and ecosystem.
Learn how rainwater is harvested into the soil, how food forests are designed, why biodiversity matters, how healthy soils are built, and how thoughtful design can reduce waste while increasing abundance.
More than a farm tour, this is an opportunity to understand a different way of relating to land, food, water and nature. After the walk, spend time interacting with Manisha and her family, asking questions and discussing your own journey.
A Glimpse of the Farm
Step into a thriving permaculture farm and explore the living systems that make it flourish. Walk through Aanandaa's food forest, discover practical permaculture principles in action, and gain a deeper understanding of nature, food and regenerative living.

Meet Manisha,
Your Guide
Manisha leads every Intro to Permaculture Tour personally. Rather than teaching in a classroom, she uses the farm itself as the textbook - explaining permaculture principles through real examples found across the landscape. The tour is designed to make permaculture practical, relatable and easy to apply, whether you have a balcony, a garden, a farm or simply a desire to live more sustainably.
You don't need to move to the countryside to pursue permaculture. You can adopt this lifestyle wherever you are. Learn how permaculture starts at home through our free course.
